Proteins
As obligate carnivores, cats fulfil most of their dietary requirements from meat, which provides them with taurine, arachidonic acid, vitamin A and vitamin B12. The main sources of protein in Moggy are chicken and fish, with some additional grain-based proteins as well. Together, these sources of protein help your cats live a long life with a robust immune system and a healthy heart.
Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates provide energy and ensure the proper functioning of metabolic activities. The main sources of carbohydrates in Moggy are whole ground corn, wheat meal and soya bean meals. Whole ground corn provides natural antioxidants, acts as a great energy source and contributes to the formulation of a balanced protein nutrition. Wheat meal, a starch carbohydrate, contains some fiber, fats, trace minerals and vitamins that , upon digestion, become readily available as an energy source for the cats. Lastly, soybean contains a good amount of concentrated fatty acids, vitamins and essential amino acids and is also a source of fiber. This fine blend of carbohydrates in Moggy strongly supports healthy digestion and keeps your cat bright eyed and bushy tailed.
Fats and Oils
The essential fatty acids, Omega-3 and Omega-6, are found in sources such as fish oil, chicken fat, soybean and canola oil. These fatty acids are crucial to healthy skin and a shiny coat and also keep the kidneys and the reproductive system in good shape. The fats in Moggy are derived from both meat and plant sources to ensure optimal health.

Apart from this, Taurine carries out a myriad of functions such as boosting the immune system, nourishing the heart and liver and improving digestion and vision. Taurine deficiency in cats may cause serious vision, heart and digestive issues. For these reasons, Moggy contains an ample quantity of Taurine, with additives derived purely from meat sources.
